Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Varanasi Itinerary

Tour Plan

Day 01 Delhi Arrival

Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and assisted by our tour manager. After checking in at the hotel, take the opportunity to relax and unwind for the remainder of the day.

Day 02 Delhi sightseeing

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, our full-day tour of Delhi will commence, exploring its prominent tourist attractions. We will begin with a visit to the Red Fort, also known as Lal Quila, to marvel at its magnificent architecture (drive past). Following this, we will proceed to Jama Masjid, located around 500 meters from the Red Fort, in the bustling Chandni Chowk area. 

Later, we will enjoy a drive past iconic landmarks such as India Gate and the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's House). Our tour will also include a visit to the historic Qutub Minar, known for its towering height and intricate architecture.

After a day filled with exploration, we will return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03 Delhi – Jaipur

After a delightful breakfast, we will proceed with our journey to Jaipur. Upon arrival, we will check in at the hotel and settle in.

In the evening, we will witness the aarti ceremony at the Birla Temple. This ceremony is a beautiful ritual where prayers and offerings are made, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere.

Afterwards, we will return to our hotel in Jaipur for an overnight stay.

Day 04 Full day Jaipur

After a refreshing breakfast, we will embark on a full-day excursion of Jaipur, famously known as the Pink City. Our first stop will be the majestic Amber Fort, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an elephant ride up to the fort, offering a unique and memorable experience. 

Next, we will visit the City Palace, a splendid complex showcasing a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. We will then explore the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory filled with intriguing instruments from the 18th century. Our tour will also include a visit to the iconic Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, known for its intricate latticework.

In the evening, we will immerse ourselves in the vibrant walled city of Jaipur, exploring its bustling markets with rickshaw riders and experienced guides. You will have the opportunity to visit popular markets such as Johari Bazaar, Chandpole Bazaar, Nehru Bazaar, and Bapu Bazaar, renowned for their collection of bangles, handicrafts, textiles, and more—a shopper's paradise.

Later in the evening, we will witness the serene aarti ceremony at the Birla Temple, offering prayers and experiencing the spiritual ambiance. We will then return to our hotel in Jaipur for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 05 Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

After enjoying breakfast, we will commence our journey to Agra, renowned for its iconic Mughal landmarks. En route, we will make a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Emperor Akbar to honor the Sufi saint, Salim Chisti. Here, we will visit notable attractions including the Buland Darwaza, a grand gateway built by Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat. We will also explore the Diwan-e-Khas and Diwan-I-Aam, which served as the private and public audience halls of Akbar respectively. Additionally, we will visit Jodha Bai Palace, also known as Mariam-uz-Zamani Palace, showcasing a fusion of Rajput and Islamic architectural styles.

Our visit to Fatehpur Sikri will also include the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti, a masterpiece made of carved white marble that exemplifies a blend of Mughal and Hindu architectural elements, featuring intricate marble jaalis (screens) from all sides.

After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, we will continue our drive towards Agra, where we will spend the night.

Day 06 Agra

After breakfast, our tour will proceed to Agra, renowned for its magnificent Mughal landmarks. Our day in Agra will commence with a visit to the awe-inspiring Taj Mahal, a masterpiece of romantic and architectural beauty. Commissioned by Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal took nearly 20 years to complete and stands as a testament to his love for art, evident in its ornate designs on pillars, roofs, and windows.

Following our visit to the Taj Mahal, we will explore the Agra Fort, also known as the Red Fort. This historical fort is famous for its Musamman Burj, where Shah Jahan was held captive during the final years of his life. The Agra Fort offers stunning views of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River.

After a day filled with exploration and marveling at these iconic monuments, we will return to our hotel in Agra.

Day 07 Agra – Delhi by surface and fly to Varanasi

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the Delhi airport to catch your flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival in Varanasi, you will be transferred to your hotel.

In the evening, you will have the opportunity to witness the Ganga Aarti, a mesmerizing ritual performed on one of the iconic Ghats (steps leading to the river) along the river Ganges. This ceremony is a spiritual experience where lamps are lit and prayers are offered to the river, creating a serene and unforgettable atmosphere.

After the Ganga Aarti, you will return to your hotel in Varanasi for the night.

Day 08 Varanasi

Early in the morning, prepare yourself for a serene boat ride on the holy river Ganga. This experience allows you to witness the ancient city of Varanasi come alive with morning rituals and activities along its ghats (steps leading to the river). After the boat ride, return to the hotel for breakfast.

Later in the day, embark on a city tour of Varanasi. The tour will include a visit to BHU (Banaras Hindu University), a renowned educational institution known for its sprawling campus and cultural significance. You will also explore various temples that are integral to the spiritual fabric of Varanasi, showcasing intricate architecture and religious practices.

Additionally, the city tour will take you to Sarnath, an important Buddhist pilgrimage site located near Varanasi. Here, you can visit ancient stupas and monasteries, reflecting the rich Buddhist heritage of the region.

After a day filled with exploration and cultural immersion, return to your hotel in Varanasi.

Day 09 Varanasi – Delhi by flight and departure

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport in Varanasi for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will connect to your onward flight for your next destination.
